Lips
The name given in Greek mythology to the wind-god of the southwest, also known as Libis. He was the wind coming from Libya. On the Tower of the Winds in Athens he is depicted as a winged, beardless young man, dressed in a tunic, holding the rudder of a boat in his hands. In Roman mythology his equivalent was the wind-god Africus (coming from Africa).
