mud rain

Rain in which the drops contain a high concentration of mineral dust, mostly originating from a desert area. Part of these solid particles act as condensation nuclei on which the raindrops grow, and the rest - most of them - is incorporated into them from the dusty air in which they form and fall. All these materials are deposited on the ground and objects on it, once, after a while, the rainwater evaporates. These dirty rains are also known as mud rains, blood rains, or bloody rains.
