tropical night
In Meteorology, this qualifier is given to a night in which the temperature does not drop below 20°C, with a minimum temperature equal to or above that value being recorded. Some authors also refer to a torrid or equatorial night, when the minimum temperature is equal to or above 25°C. In Climatology, warm nights are counted as those whose minimum temperature is greater than the 90th percentile of the distribution of minimum temperatures recorded over a given reference period.
