smoke

A lithometeor consisting of a set of tiny solid particles suspended in the atmosphere - with diameters smaller than a hundredth of a micron (0.01 μm) -, resulting from incomplete combustion. Smoke is toxic and can have a natural origin (wildfires not caused by humans) or an anthropogenic one (traffic, heating, tobacco, factories...).
