Mediterranean climate

A climate that, despite explicitly referring to the Mediterranean Sea, does not occur only there - in its area of influence -, but also in other places in the world, presenting different variants. In the Köppen climate classification it corresponds to a subtype of temperate climate (type C). That classification considers, on one hand, the typical Mediterranean climate (Csa), with dry, warm summers and, on the other, the one with oceanic influence (Csb), with milder summers.
